Pallavi Poswal comes with a work experience of 19+ years. She completed her Bachelors in Arts with Psychology Honours in 2003 from Panjab University and her Masters in Psychology in 2005 from the same university. She majored in Child Psychology & Counseling. In the past, she has worked with Physiotherapists and Speech therapists to help children with disabilities or borderline learning abilities to train them so that they are able to carry out their daily routine & basic activities independently. Her rich background of working with children enables her to be sensitive and understand delicate scenarios with complete ease. It enables her to have the skill of understanding psyche and the finer nuances related to human behavior. Unlike many, Pallavi’s uniqueness is that she brings first-hand experience in managing diverse roles ranging from HR, business development, client relationship management & operations, logistics, hospitality, music (artist & band management), performing arts (television, short films, theatre), modelling and post-production (translation & dubbing). This arms her with tools to easily identify even the subtle dynamics that could be at play at various work settings which could possibly be missed otherwise and assists her to successfully play her role at The Legal Swan.

In her experience as an external member and manager, she assists various organisation with various aspects of compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. She has not only conducted 350+ programs so far, including employee awareness, train the trainer, first responder, managers and training for IC but also conducted open workshops, advanced training programs for IC members and fellow professionals / experts working as external members.

She has also worked as an external member for 80+ organizations. Along with that, she has not only supervised handling of complaints on a timely basis at every stage but also overseen quality of the delivery of communications sent to various stakeholders from time to time during this process. 

She has assisted with 250+ complaints. Given her background, she is an asset to the Firm as she also provides guidance to our colleagues in navigating through challenges including ‘compassion fatigue’ that may arise from time to time.

She assists with setting Standard Operating Processes for smooth and systematic functioning of the Inquiry Vertical. She had also contributed by taking the initiative to conduct research on domestic violence during the pandemic as well as definition of work from home and how that aligns with law. She has also worked on researching and developing content in order to create modules and had written nuanced scripts for interactive learning that would help various organizations in their pursuit of prevention, redressal and prohibition of sexual harassment. She also created short, nuanced content on intent-impact that was featured in various trainings. She also lent her voice to nuanced videos created for interactive learning for employee awareness programs as well as IC trainings.

As a psychologist, while she is sensitive and objective in her approach of handling complaints of sexual harassment, she is also able to apply the legal knowledge and skills to handle complaints of this nature as per requirements of law.

She has also been counselling young adults, guiding them in navigating through their personal and professional life.
