Ekta holds in Post Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in Human Rights from Indian Institute of Human Rights (New Delhi) and B. A. Honors in English from Miranda House, Delhi University. She is an astute, results-oriented leader with proven success of 22 years+- 17 years in Office of Ethics & Human Resource and 5 years in Operations Management. She has worked with Top IT & ITES Multinational Companies like Genpact (GECIS), Infosys and Mphasis.
She is a certified POSH Practitioner and a Subject matter expert on Prevention of sexual harassment of women at the workplace Act’2013. She has assisted Organizations in POSH policy formulation, procedures, investigation techniques, report writing, preparation of annual reports etc.
She has authored the POSH Handbook published internally for Mphasis. She has also formulated and implemented policies such as Code of Business Conduct, Whistleblower, Anti Bribery and Anti Corruptions, Anti- Discriminatory, Modern Slavery etc.
She has driven related training and awareness Programs. She has also represented Organizations in NASSCOM, Assocham, Amnesty International, Prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplace Summits and many other forums. She is the recipient of the Asian HR leadership Award -2012 for deploying practices in promoting Health in the workplace for Infosys and the Golden Peacock HR Excellence Award 2012 for People Management Practices in Infosys.

- 1 to 4 hours Awareness programs on sexual harassment for employees and managers
- 1 to 4 hours Awareness programs on rights of LGBTQIA+ folx and application of Indian laws
- 8 to 20 hours training for Internal Committee members on how to nuances to keep in mind while handling complaints of sexual harassment
- 8 to 16 hours training for complaint officers on conducting inquiries into complaints filed by transgender persons or persons with disability
- 8 to 16 hours training for trainers so that they can conduct awareness program
